What's up people, how hard is it to change handlebars on a 97 M2? I'm looking into switching from the stock handlebars that are way out in arms length to more shorter and lower ones. |

It's pretty easy, get a new set of grips though, you'll need them when ya do. Also depends on what bars you plan on doing. |

Would you also happen to know if i can swap out my stock single headlight and put in twin headlights on the 97 M2? |

Yup, but I don't know what type of mounting brackets you'd need though. |

Just make sure your existing cables will be long enough for your new bars ar you will be opening a whole new can of worms. Kilroy |

Well, if you want lower bars, the cables won't be a problem. In fact, then they'll be too long, LOL Look into getting a fatbar combo. I think they look sick. I think Precision Engineering makes the fat bar clamp, then find a set of super bike bars you dig... |

Yea i just checked the fatbar combo and they do look pretty sweet. The handlebars i'm looking for are shaped in an arch form and the ends pull toward the rider. Ever seen them before? |

Hell, with how low those sit, you can see the top of the forks, I'm betting those are clip ons. |

Yea i was checking out clubman and they are definitely the handlebars i want on my cyclone. It does look a little tricky being that they sit so low. I dunno...maybe a future project. For now i love my stock. Thanks sleez and brinnutz. |

The S3T and the Blast bars are different. The S3T is about 2" wider and the bend in the middle is a bit wider. I don't have the measurements handy, but they aren't exactly the same, only close. |
