I think this has been mentioned, but I coudn't find it.

Has anyone found the C.F. case protection that the guys that are racing 1125's are using?

Seems the engine is normally the first to touch down in the event of a mishap. Since I will be on mine every day and have been down, (thanks to car drivers!), I like to protect the engine as much as possible.

Thanks.

Mike

You need to contact the vendor in the thread above. they have em, just not the website yet. Compared to the cost of the engine covers, it might be good insurance. I have been considering them too. They are not cheap.

Great...thanks.
That was also the thread I was looking for!
At 140ish bucks, while not exactly cheap, it could mean driving home after a simple lowside...vs. flat bedding it home.

Another payment or two on the credit card...and a pair of those will be added to my card.

Thanks again.

I had the pleasure to MEET the staff of Taylor Made this weekend at Willow Springs - their shop is just an hour away.

They are SERIOUS about the 1125R and are STUDYING the bikes and their use. I doubt that anything they've put out for the bike hasn't been thoroughly researched/tested... spent some time talking to them between practice sessions on Saturday. For sure, the case sliders are NOT just carbon-bling.
