The HMF sounds a little mellower in that vid. I think that - I'm not crazy about the 'bark' that the Jardine and D&D systems tend to have. The volume still concerns me. I know the D&D is too loud. People say the Jardine is about as loud as the D&D, and that the HMF is about as loud as the Jardine, which means they're all too damned loud. I'm about to make a mid-pipe and bolt a supertrapp to it to get the sound I want. |

Or you could find a way to put either two mufflers on or one larger one. That is the only problem with v-twins its hard to mellow out the pulses. |

They offer Brushed, Black, and Candy Blue. The black and Candy blue are an additional $20, well worth it in my opinion. |

My HMF Exhaust came in yesterday, installed today. WOW the difference, and does this puppy growl. Pictures and video clip soon to follow, but in the mean time I highly recommend it. |

I have gotten mine out and rode around a little bit. Down low it is a little loud for me and around town, but am I in no way complaining just being honest about how loud it actually is. Other than that it has a nice sound all the way through the rpms. Driving down the freeway or pretty much above 50 it has a purr to it that is all to its own. It keeps the v-twin rumble all through the rs. |
