Has anyone else had their 08 Cluster replaced with an 09? If yes, how long did it take for the part to ship to the dealer? My dealer has been waiting for almost 3 weeks...I would love to start riding again! |

Hell I'd tell them to put it back together again and call me when it comes in. |

I was just about to ask the same question. My dealer doesn't want to put the bike back together because he says the part should be on the way. He didn't even check to see if it had shipped yet. I am calling tomorrow and TELLING them, nicely of course, to put it back together. Supposed to be 80 degrees here this weekend.} |

80 degrees in New Jersey this weekend and I won't be riding...not cool! If they aren't being shipped till the 29th my bike will be on the shelf for over a month. Hopefully the brake recall kit will be available before then so they can do that service before I pick the bike up. |

If the dealer takes the time to look it up in their computer they will likely be able to get an expected shipping date. Just after the XB12s came out my front rim needed to be replaced so my dealer ordered one. When I asked for it's expected shipping date it turned out to be 90 days. So they went on line and checked other dealer's stock and found just one on the east coast. I guess I showed my age as the kid behind the counter didn't get my "slow boat from China" wisecrack. |

It took 4 weeks for mine to come in.I asked my dealer to put it together at least 3 times before it came in.I don't know why they have a problem with putting the bike together and bringing it back when the ic gets in. |

Guys Be oso glad the time down is measured in weeks, and not in Months. 7.02.08 a car kindly backed over my R while I was in a resturant, long story short the bike was fixed 3 MONTHS before I got the 09 cluster recall, and the local great wonderful buell/hd stealership would not release it to me until the recall was installed. So, I was yanked around for 3wks,and decided to buy a 2nd bike (06 gsxr 1k) to hold me over til I got it back. Good luck & have patience. Oh yeah it is my 1st IL4 and the R is my 3rd Buell. -boudrx79 |
