iknow i need to slow down abit but i seem to feel better when im moving a little faster then traffic, i just dont feel safe with a cage infront and behind the problem is one thing leads to another and the next thing i know im splitting lanes at 65 in a 35 down pch |

I know exactly what you mean Danny. Have to always have your eyes open and keep on the move in California traffic. However, I think the 65 in a 35 is what the guys were talking about above. Ride safe. |

Stock Blasts will do 95, but these bikes aren't all about top speed. I've had my X1 into triple digits a couple times but still don't see the appeal. I get a much bigger rush by getting through the intersection before the guy next to me realizes that the light turned green. |

I'm with PK, these things sure are a blast from 0 - about 120 but then i shut her down. I've had it up to 140 a couple of times... but it takes to long to climb that extra 20mph! |

I think I started all the rukus about going to fast and I've never even had the X1 over 100 or even 6000 rpm as I recall. Had my Jap bikes up there in the past but that was just to catch up with other riders not really for any kind of fun. Quick bursts up to speed is why I ride this bike every chance I can. |
