Did Anyone know that H-D of Utica got rid of Buell? I stopped in Yesterday as I don't get out that way very often and was pissed cuz I wanted to take the 1125 for a test drive. Damn and I will not step foot again into Performance H-D in Syracuse as the Owner is a Jerk(my opinion). |

Got rid of Buell? That's horse poo! I just bought mine there in January and had the first service wrote into the contract. I haven't even been able to ride it yet. That sucks. Did they give you a reason why they did it? |

Roadcouch seen you heading through Chittenago on the Glide yesterday. Of course I was in my truck. Did Utica tell you they dropped Buell or was there no bikes on the floor ? |

Haven't been to Utica HD for almost a year, even though they are (or is it were?) the closest Buell dealer to me. Their Buell customer service sucked so bad, they are the reason I bought a GS last Spring. Still have my Buell Uly and at this point plan to keep it. Thanks to the competence of the service dept at Utica HD, I got a new motor last year! Thank you Utica HD. |

Yup. 1150. Rode it out to Calif and back via Grand Canyon, North Rim, Zion, Dinosauer NP, Colorado, Wyoming, etc. with my grandson the end of last August. We stayed at KOAs most of the ride. He did real well the last day we did almost 900 miles from Iowa all the way home. He says he is ready for his Bun Burner 1000 this year. Had no problems with the bike. Fuel mileage was good even with the two of us on board plus all our camping gear and all. Last Spring break he rode the Uly with me down the Blue Ridge Parkway and we rode the Dragon. His longest day on that ride was only about 500 miles. He says the Uly is more comfortable on the back than the BMW. I think the BMW is a little more forgiving for my 30 inch inseam, so I prefer it loaded and riding two-up. The Uly is still the best single and in the curves, for me. |

A salesman at H-D of Utica told me they no longer sell Buell, and I did not want to hear why, again,as they did it before, so I headed over to Knuckleheads in Westmoreland. |

I may just have to take a trip tomorrow to the DMV to put the S1 on the road a week early, just to re-register it again next week the way registration is set up. I've had the bike off the road a couple of years and need a new license plate. 45 out today and into the 80's on Saturday.Oh Yeah. |

I took a little trip to Performance H-D Saturday to get rear pads and possibly a rotor for the S-1, 12 year old bike. They do not carry brake parts for my bike.Too old. I know I know. American Sport Bike, but I wanted to put a set on for the nice weather that popped up this past weekend and go for a ride. |

I get a lot of parts from Universal Sales....they are on Bear St. (just down and around from Performance)....nice place to deal with....they try to carry a lot of stuff....but cater to lots of different "toys" so a little hard to have full stocks of things. What they don't have they can usually get in a day or two. You won't find better deals or service anywhere around Syr though.... I have worked for Performance in the past....in all fairness Dave to me has been given a "Bad-Rap".....very nice guy and he definitely knows his stuff about Harley's....just has "taken some bad advice from people close to him"..... |

Luv2jugs I bought the Buell used, and went to Performance H-D to get the fuel tank replaced for the bubbles problem. First he Sedlac himself denied that Buell was replacing them, so when I called Buell and went back a second time when he himself told me to just leave the bike and when it was done they would call. I said I would not leave my bike for who knows how long that he could just order it and call me when it came in. He said he didn't know that I would come back, and I said why wouldn't I come back? He said "I don't know you". That was the first time he and I had words. By the way Mancheseter H-D did the tank replace through the mail as I had them do the Nallin Stage II work on S1. Two years ago I was having problems with my Road Glide eating electrical parts and found out there was a recall on part of the wiring harness, and was also buying a new 2007 Street Bob w/103" kit for my son's 1st birthday, so I had them deliver the Street Bob and pick up the Road Glide for service. A few days later they also delivered the Road Glide back to me and I rode it to work on the Afternoon shift. That night I rode it out of Syracuse before realizing the Headlights were not putting out much light. Rode it home with the lights pointed at the front tire. When the wiring harness was replaced, whoever worked on it ZIPTIED the harness through one of the holes the headlights snapped into, so the lights just tipped over in the bucket. I called Perf. the next day after fixing that myself and asked to talk to Sedlac, whereupon he denied that they it up and he asked and the mechanic told "him" that the clips I mentioned needed to be replaced as they were broke, so I asked why didn't the mechanic fix it and he said the guy was trying to save me some money. We had no longer a productive conversation at that point. I did go back there last weekend looking to buy Rear Brakes for the Buell, and I am not blaming Performance for not having the parts I needed, but Sedlac treated me like dirt, even after buying a new bike from him and financing through H-D financial which he also makes money on. My 2 cents |

If anyone is interested in CNY this morning, there is an antique tractor plowing get together at the Intersection of St. Rt. 5 and Quarry Rd., just two miles East of Chittenango, starting at 9:00am. Usually some neat BIG old Twins there if you know what I mean, and Flatties too. |

Hey, does anyone know who rides an S-3T with a one wheeled trailer around CNY? Think it was Orange. I saw it riding into Chittenango about 1:00pm on Sunday heading north on rt.13 just going into the village. Tried to turn and find them, but had my truck and lost them. I saw a Frankenstein trike Buell last summer in Oneida. An old guy from Syracuse was riding it. He told me it was on their website, but I did not find it on there. It was very cool. |

OK, I have driven through there my whole life ,every morning for 3 years, and never knew that corner was called Buellville? Is there a sign or anything to get a pick with the bike? I'll drive around and see if I can find one. |

If you are talking on rt.92 west of Cazenovia, I was told by a local that the Horse farm with the name on a sort of crucifix is the center of Buellville, but that there is no signage at all in that place, but glad you found it too! |

I too went there on my Road Glide to take a picture after finding Buellville online on a map, but with my Buell Vanson Jacket(S-1 was down) . I was going to set it up on the tank for a picture, but alas there was no picture to be taken. A local man working at a Hardware store told me where Buellville was, and that there were no signs.
