21,183 miles, 4 bad rear blinkers, clutch leak 2 times. All working fantastic right now. My poor wife is jealous of this bike. Will be changing out the front wheel bearings at the next front tire change, and putting on a drummer exhaust this next week. And the best time of the year is just around the corner! Rocket Ray |

Redscuell, I thought my bike steered pretty good, but started feeling a bit vague coming home the other day(9,000 miles now) I had to re- adjust my suspension(rebound and damping have softened a bit from breaking in) and I reset my suspension sag to around 35 mm f and 25 mm rear, as suggested by our infamous racer Slaughter here on badweb, and my bike has never rode or steered so well, or felt so planted leaned over. ( Note: takes a helper to get your sag right, search it here) Oh yeah, over 9,000 miles and smiles, 3 blinkers one IC one AT sensor, leaky clutch and a tank venting system, all under warranty, no arguments. Dec '07. |

I don't wanna sound different, but I haven't had any real problems out of mine- 08 1125...But I have had one issue that I am told no one else has reported; my shifter side foot peg mount has actually came in contact with my swing arm and scratched the paint off of it (no crashing or damages either). I took it to the dealer and they said that they have never seen it, so they used touch up paint, and told me to bring it back if it does it again. They didn't make any adjustments and guess what- no $hit it did it again. I swear that service department is a bunch of morons. I got about 750 miles on mine. |

> my shifter side foot peg mount has > actually came in contact with my swing > arm and scratched the paint off of it (no > crashing or damages either) I had a version of this on the rear brake side. The hose clamp for the fliud res was turned so the tabs rubbed against the swing arm and actually rubbed about 1/3rd of the way through the soft aluminum! It's a small area, so I doubt there's any safety issue, but I have a shiny silver spot there now. |

18K. 08 1125R Had all the usual suspects occur and addressed prior to 5,700M (clutch slave, kickstand spring, turn signal, cracked mirror). The bike has been totally trouble free the last 12,700 miles. |

Yep, similar stuff (1100 miles): 3 rear indicators 1 battery clutch leak - slave cylinder replaced plus all the updates - re mapping helped a lot! Used synthetic oil on the first oil change - made a big difference (maybe just run in). I wanted to get rid of it because of these stupid shouldn't happen problems, but everytime i ride it i have a big grin! I had an 2006 MV Agusta before this bike, although the MV had a lot more power the Buell is much easier (for me) to ride quickly and a lot more comfortable. All that being said, it seems to running great and hopefully those stupid problems seem to be behind now. |

Just turned 7700 miles and still have no issues and the only shop time my bike has seen are: 1.third flash and kickstand spring. 2. Dyno time to improve the third flash for my setup. |

Approaching 26,000 miles. Have had my share of issues. http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pb2pblrkFXr 1vSGtGZ8HeJg Not yet documented above is the pending replacement of the front rotor due to 8/1000ths warping (not enough to replace under warranty) and a hole in my exhaust needing to be dealt with. I'll also be getting the forks serviced very soon as part of the 24,800 mile scheduled maintenance. Oh, and the clutch is weeping AGAIN. Will be getting that fixed later this month. I also have a front-end clunk, a scraped swingarm from the rearsets just like Kellykinsfather and the bike burns a bit more oil than I would expect. It was overfilled just like Thurstonbuell's above... I wonder if that has much to do with it. (Message edited by chameleon on May 06, 2009) (Message edited by chameleon on May 06, 2009) |

7,800 kilometres, 4 months old, and charging system failed; hence the 'system voltage' code and the engine light. Dealer says because a wire rubbed through under the seat. Replaced under warranty, but stator n/a from USA so after 5 weeks at the dealer they removed a stator from a display bike. |

Only done 700 miles on an 09 1125R but have had the LFL/CEL issues and the instrument cluster is suffering from condensation - and before anyone asks I don't use a pressure washer. Otherwise the bike is going well. |

08 1125. Now have about 9900miles. Before delivery, right pod cover was marked during unpacking or from factory. Ordered for replacement before I picked up the bike, woot. Had a grounding/battery issue resulting in dead bike (towed to dealer) twice. Eventually they replaced the batt/re-grounded everything with star washers, problem solved. Both rear turn signals went out. Replaced. Left mirror wouldn't stay put. Replaced. Clutch cover leak addressed 4 times. Still leaks. 08 gauge cluster fogged. Replaced w/ 09. Then include the dealer visits for re-flashes and recalls etc. Sweet bike, teething problems to boot. Now she's for sale due to an international move. |
