Well, we got our swag, not too bad. Better than the tire gauge. And we saw John and Mike. How was the test ride on the CR John? Ready to buy one!!!!! We took a nice ride with Skye on his all fixed up SV down to Perry Park. Saw lots of deer. Waved to Chris as we drove by the shop. Hi Chris. If it's nice tomorrow will hopefully be out riding again. This was on Wed down 105 and Tomah Road
This was today at the end of Perry Park Road where it turns in to a gravel road.
This was yesterday at the shop that Chris works at just before we all went for a short ride. Very Nice

Your bike looks nice in blue Julie! Glad Skye has his ride working, too. Oh yeah, I'm really glad the snow is gone that y'all got! |

Yes it is very nice that all the snow is gone now. Today up here it's overcast and foggy. Guess I'll just have to go shopping. Skye gave me a gift card to Victoria's Secret, so that's where I'm headed off to today. Dan will stay home and work around the house. Frank, which of your 4 bikes IS running. Can I guess? Hope you get the tubers running soon. Your gathering will be coming up very soon. |

09 Uly = Running 95 S2 = Rear base gasket leak 96 S2T = No starty 98 S1W = Float bowl sticking I know you would have guessed the Uly and you are right. I got to check how bad the leak is on the S2. I will still ride it if the compression is ok. I have been thinking 1250 kit for it!!!! The S1W is always in a state of repair. If I get the S2T running and put back together I will take a look at it today. Lynn has to work today so I will spend most all day in the garage. Dang, this weekend looks like winter in East Tennessee, and feels like it too. I decided not to ride anywhere at all today, I hope tomorrow will be somewhat sunny and warmer. Frank, I have a new toy: a mini air compressor that connects directly to the battery on my XB9. I can put the compressor itself in my backpack since the cord has a disconnect. I find it necessary to run lower air pressure in the tires whenever I have to ride on loose gravel and dirt. This compressor will let me bring the pressure back up to street performance pressures. |

That's a good idea, Jody. Loretta's very squirrely on gravel, any throttle at all and the back just spins. I rode to work yesterday. Rode home at lunch and picked up chaps, colder than the morning ride. Not sure if I'll ride today, it's my "Friday" finally. As long as it's not raining when time to leave... I reset Loretta from AFVs of 100 F&R to 94.5 F&R - her old sweet spot - oooh happy dance! Good luck Frank. Hope to see y'all when the weather breaks. Z |

Julie, I really liked the 1125CR. It was very smooth and I also liked the lower gearing compared to the 1125r that I rode last year. The handlebar position was fine for me too. The bike just begs to be ridden hard. I still like the XB though. Spent the day yesterday at the Pueblo race track watching John get his first win of his short career as a racer. Also saw a 1125r get second in its class. Weather was good down there. |

The clouds looked ominous but the roads were dry! Frank, thanks for the you know what, you can test me on it later. The bike rode much better with the rear stiffened up and the tire pressure back up to spec. |

Jody, glad you made it home dry. As far as the test you may want to read up on the S2 section before June 19th. Remember, Ace Hardware is your friend. |

So how much could I get for my Scg to put towards a CR? Would need to get 2 tho, cause Dan would want one too. Maybe next year. Jody, you need to get a Uly for the type of riding you like to do. |

Jody, you need to get a Uly for the type of riding you like to do. I tried telling him that a long time ago. I think he needs a KLR. A CR Julie? I was very pleased with the trade in I got for the bolt at HCHD towards the Uly. I will be trading in the Uly on a 1125ST when they come out. If you get a CR there will be no way I will be able to keep up with you. I have a hard time as it is now!

I was in the Springs area today and noticed the scooter cops on bike I couldn't make out. Anyone know what make and model they are riding? Oh, and they were neither Harley nor Uly. |

They ride BMWs as well but I could not tell you what kind. I have also seen Kawasaki police bikes. |

Hey all, we've had a visit from someone who helps make Danny Eslick a winning Buell 1125r racer. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/171 43/444932.html?1241184007 |

Head South! Canon is forecast to have high sixties. What about a trip through the plains southeast of Pueblo? Maybe a late afternoon thunderstorm will boil up and we can play dodge. I really do want to try some greenhorn storm chasing sometime. |

We went on our usual after work ride today and met another Bueller. His name is Jason (I think), he rides a Uly and lives in Palmer Lake. He wasn't riding his bike but he came over and talked with us for a while. It's amazing just how many Buells are out there. |

Buells all over Broadway! Stop at Performance Cycle...and there is a cherry bomb red 12s out front. By the time we finish shopping for my girl's gear...there is a custom'd Uly...with "ULY" plate out front....prolly somebody on here? Then a half mile up the road pass an XT coming down the street! An hour later see THREE in the small bike parking area across the street from Metro! ...I am starting to feel less special! |

ALL us Buellers are very special. In a good way Good to see you on here Michael. It is getting close to that time to get a couple of rides going. I think I am going to try and hookup with J2Blue on Saturday for a Southern route where it will be warmer. This weekend storm stuff is getting old.} |

Wow, it pays to advertise I guess. The HCHD guys are really going out of there way to let people know whats going on! Geisterfahrer, I am glad you found the site. There are actually three Buell groups in Colorado. The Colorado Rockies Adventures Group (CRAG) up in Northern Colorado, The Colorado Thunder Club in Denver and the Altitude Riders in Colorado Springs. This section is to let everyone know what is going on so you are in the right place. If there is one common theme with every group besides Buells is everyone wants to ride but very few actually step up to put together a ride. I imagine, when we have a good weekend, we will all go for a ride somewhere. Keep a look out for rides. If you saw the flier you already know about the S2 Gathering (open to all Buells) and there will be others. May Labor Day is the Red River NM rally (not Buell specific) June 5 - 7 is Homecoming in East Troy WI (Very Buell specific) June 19-21 The S2 Gathering in Buena Vista CO (S2 Specific) Aug will be the NM Groups ride most likely somewhere in Southern Colorado this year (Buell specific) Maybe the weekend after next the weather will be nice and we can get the Northern guys and gals to motor to Deckers and meet with the Southern guys and gals.
