Anyone know if Buell sells touch-up paint for the S3T (2002 Carbon Black)? The dealer is having trouble locating the codes to look it up. The only thing I can find is http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/3595.html?1113400562 but those don't match what's in their database. Thanks for any help. |

i just spoke with a PPG rep, most of those codes are good, the ones she couldn't verify are; Yellow Jacket Carribean Blue High Voltage Yellow Spark Red Blaze Orange amazing enough, she did have a color code for; Nuclear Blue; DBC-303792 Parkway Blue; DBC190938 Black Sapphire; DBC95153 Ice White Pearl; DBC-91854 sorry for the extra info, need to make sure i document it before it is lost. Yes they do. Buell is painting Ice White Pearl this week but paints all the colors ever used. There is a complete line of touch-up paints. |

"There is a complete line of touch-up paints." Oh really? Please tell use the p/n's I was looking for Black Sapphire and had a p/n and my local dealer (Topeka H-D's sister store in Lawrence) said it was obsolete and no replacing p/n. Do share the information if you have it. Thanks, Loren |

Thanks Sleez... the 96014-97YYB number did it. Local dealer says the p/n is obsolete! They claim Harley is doing that with A LOT of p/n's lately (sign of tough times maybe). They found one in the computer at a dealership in Lancaster, Penn... I just called and got it... excellent. Wondering if I should call every dealer in the country and buy every last bottle up in every color... I see $$ in this...ha. Anyway, thanks for the help. |
