I am a new Buell owner. The front rotor rattles and is loose. It looks like the rotor can be tightened at the torx screws. Can I tighten these or do I need to replace the rotor? Thanks! |

There was a recall kit with extra spring washers that can help with the rattle. It only worked for me temporarily. Ultimately I replaced the rotor with the factory 2000 model year replacement. There are aftermarket rotors as well. Check out American Sport Bikes, one of our sponsors. SteveH |

Ocbueller, Thanks for the reply. I have purchased a replacement, hopefully I will be able to replace it this weekend. This is the first Buell I have ever owned and I love it...will never sit on another Jap bike...ever! |

What mdl Buell do you have ? Front rotors are floating type, seem loose and are able to move,or float. Oops,as soon as I posted noticed mdl in message title. (Message edited by MBC on March 01, 2009) |
