Anybody tried this mod? The XB9 spring seems a bit soft for my tastes. I just happen to have a Uly shock with a Hyperpro spring.

I would like some thoughts on this idea.

The XB9 has a different frame to the Uly. I'm not sure that the swingarm/frame geometry and relationship is compatible.

Uly, had the longest suspension, so i doubt if the spring will fit, have you tried to preload more the spring? or the damping?

I have them all turned up to the max o n adjustment.

Side by side the Uly shock in the spring area is ~1/4" longer only.
