So i picked up an 08 XB9SX with 2097 miles that was totaled but runs great and i am going to fix it up any help would be appreciated and i will keep updating the progress. (Message edited by bueller83 on March 19, 2009) |

Been working on an R to S swap out myself -- you decided where you are going to put the brain? I have heard you can modify the R tail to fit it in with some minor work. Post pics of the project bike, and good luck with your project. -d |

My last bike i did this mod on i just got some velcro for the ECM and attached it to the under plastics where the trunk box would be so i had no trunk box but i never had one on the SX so i lost nothing and i will try to get pics up tonight (Message edited by bueller83 on March 20, 2009) |

think there is a bit of plastic trimming needed, but yeah, it seems to be no big deal. |

i didn't trim any plastic but i did have a problem with the fuse box but i will be getting that right this time |
