Looking for a bike that can be fixed to ride, I do not care how it looks as long as I can get it to roll safely. I would like a xb12. I would love a nice one but the family economy is forcing me to one that I will have to put some work into |

Take a look at www.wreckedharley bikes.com I have gotten a few bikes through these guys and Al is a stand up guy. There are a couple listed there already for a decent price and I also have a friend right up the road if you want someone to take a look at it for you. |

There's been a mildly wrecked 06 Ulysses that's popped up twice on fleabay, FWIW. It was even in Wisconsin, though I can't find a reference to the listing right now. I don't believe that it sold the last time thru, but a Uly may not be what you're looking for either. Be sure to post pics and yer progress once you get rolling. Good luck. |

That Uly that was on EBay is in Neenah - at the motorcycle salvage yard at the corner of CTH II and 41. I just looked at it yesterday when I was cruising by. Needs a new rear rim, foot pegs all around, some handle bar work. Looked like it could have been fixed relatively cheap. Unknown if it had any swing arm damage. Most of what needed to be fixed can be found here pretty cheap. I think they were asking $4K. |

That's the girl! I was really tempted by this, but the wife offered that I should get something that didn't require as much work as my last wrecked bike project... Who am I to argue?! I had asked about the status of the title, and apparently it's not an official 'salvage' but rather just an insurance buyout. Not sure about how they handle that in WI, but over in MN it'd get a clean new title without an inspection. |

I'm not sure how that would work here. Salvage titles require an inspection - I'm not sure how the "insurance buyout" works either. |
