just put my exhaust back on and used the Screamin Eagle gaskets from AmericanSportbike and when I started it up at first there seemed to be a small leak from the front port. After retightening and a short ride it seemed to go away. Is this somewhat normal when they are first installed? I figured maybe the gasket, header and head all had to heat up and expand a little but don't know if this is normal |

its a bit tricky to get those gaskets to seat right. you have to make sure the small ring INSIDE of the retaining plate is fitted in right, and then you have to torque down the bolts EVENLY to get them to seal just right. I still have to retighten after a few miles, to get them just right. |
