Normal rate to re-build forks is 75 bucks apiece. If yours are sacked it's worth every penny. |

That sounds like a good deal. The seal kit and oil is close to 50 and the stock seal install tool set kit cost me over 200. I've rebuilt a few pair and can have a pair done in about 3 hours but the first time took a loooong time because I screwed up one of the upper proportioning valves and had to wait for a new one. Good luck. Oh also if they are leaking out the bottom your copper metal gaskets are bad. You still need to take them apart and then the seals and fluid get freshened up. It is odd they are leaking. |

they are leaking where the upper tube and lower tube come together, looks like a dust seal is where the oil is coming from.

T-head heres how to do it, get the parts from Al, seal drivers are the only special tools required. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=3842&post=802080#POST802080 |
