So yeah, I am maybe a bit crazy BUT I am on spring break starting next week thursday(20th) till the 29th and I am going to take the Uly out to Colorado. Any first hand rider reports of conditions along the way? (may be a bit premature to ask that question). Also if anyone wants to tag along for the trip or any part of it let me know. I always welcome riders. |

Make sure you stop and see Frank!!! Hell, use the BRAN and ask BadWebbers along the way for a couch to crash on! Save you a ton of money and get to meet tons of people!!! Wilson |

may be a bit premature to ask that question Yes it is. This week will be cold and windy however we have had a very mild winter this year. I rode to work every day for the last two weeks but this week I am in the truck (for reasons other than weather) Drop me an email at f_skinner@yahoo.com. Maybe we can scare up a couple of Buell riders while you are in Colorado. BTW: What part of Colorado do you have in mind? Frank |

Frank, I will be staying in the springs (if my worthless friends ever get back to me that is). I see you live in fountain....I used to date a girl there when I was at Carson. I will definitely hit you up when i am out there and would love to hit up some of the canyon roads. I know I have to spend a day or so in Lake George/11 mile. Any idea how rampart range road is right now? I would love to take the Uly up there but Im sure its still snow covered with massive washouts this time of the year. |

Rampart Range road is still closed and will be for a while. It was pretty nasty last time I was up there. Maximum, Jammer, Troyz and other Uly riders probably have the best idea of where the non-paved rides are. You posted this in the Old School section so you might want to try the Uly section because I think they check that area (being Uly riders an all). I do have a couple of ggod roads to ride but since you have been in this area you probably know all the ones I do. Make sure you take a copy of the BRAN just in case. BTW: It was snowing about an hour ago but it does not look like it will stay around. Keep in touch, my phone number is on the BRAN. Frank |

Frank, Yeah I was a big dummy and posted it here unintentionally and I did post it in the Uly side now. I am hoping to do a loop from like Canyon city to BV at some point. We will see. I will be in touch once I get into the area for sure. Chris |

I've been into the low hills a couple of times. I live just east of Boulder, been thru Allenspark and Estes. A little sand and gravel, quite a bit of white, mag-chloride residue. Be very easy when the Mg-Cl is wet - slick as ice. Zack |
