Hey y'all, Moved down the block due to some technical difficulties with my marriage but all set and ready for the ride, got a new front tire, new pipe coming and maybe even a seat if I can swing it. I CAN'T WAIT!!! I live on a dead end street with lots of parking so if somebody wants to trailer bike up to my place its cool. I also have mapped out a killer route through beautiful Ventura farmland to get to S.L.O. I am going to ride it first to make sure its cool all the way and so I can get a little squirly on the way up. If we can - no big deal - they are only like 5 buildings apart - I'll be checking in then go check the other and see who is at the Travelodge as well - get a poll on where to eat type of thing and plan the Saturday ride - the usual fun - looking forward to it. EZ | ||

Ray, my guess is about 11:30 am, if we leave Buena Park by 9:30am. That gives us 2 hours to do an 1 1/2 hour ride (taking in to account lollygagging and dillydallying). | ||

Looks like things are coming together for the SoCal contingency. Most have rooms at the Super 8 (P3Pilot/Ray still needs a room). Kyle, James (& Shannon), Me, Daris & Chris, Mark (wife will be in the 'chase car') and Ray are all confirmed to go. The tentative plan is for us to meet at Chris & Daris' house at 9am. Then meet up with Kyle and Ray about 11am. Then off to SLO. James has agreed to put the Saturday route together. Subject to change if input from others deems a different plan like going to the Solvang Motorcycle museum or (dare I say) rain permitting. Ray has planned routes to SLO. I'll be bringing maps too, just in case. The goal is as many back roads as possible! Again this is an open invitation to any other California 'Blastards' who would like to join us. | ||

The tentative plan is for me to be at Daris' & Chris' house by 9am and we should be at Kyles by 11am. Meeting there with Ray and Kyle and leaving shortly thereafter. I proposed to James and Mark that they meet up and go straight to Kyle's instead of going out of their way to Daris'(or my) house. The best part of the ride starts at Kyle's. Before that, its just the grind down LA freeways. I havent heard back yet. Carlson: I'm sure you can work something out with EZ and my guess is he has already contacted you? | ||
