Seth , Jason, Myself, a couple of our customers we going nuts. The bike is fast, danny's fast. The buells will be a force this year. 5th place is what I said I'd be happy about, and Higbee gave that to us so Congrats to Higbee. To answer the ? THAT BUELL WOULD HAVE WON THE RACE. 1st THIS IS GONNA BE A GREAT YR FOR BUELL |

Seabass... Get over displacement, its just one of many factors that determine engine power. Matching weight and horsepower makes much more sense. I don't care if a 150 HP 350 lb bike gets its power from a 600cc inline four, a 675 cc triple, or a 1000cc water cooled twin, or a 1350 air cooled twin. Heck, stuff a small turbine in there if you can figure out a way to make that work... The rules are going to be tuned over time, so if the 1125R really does have an advantage, it'll be levelled out. I watched the race last night, and the people in the front were the best riders using the quirks of their bikes to their best advantage. Watching the Buell and the Yamaha swap positions each lap was incredibly fun. It would have been even better with a Triumph and Aprilla mixing it up in there. |

What the hell are those racing mags gonna do when Buell is winning? Think they'll change around and be all "we loved them all along" so they don't have to eat crow? Or that they'll just continue to trash Buell regardless of facts? Can't wait to see. |

Elvis, I didn't notice what fairing Higbee was running. My conversation with Trev at Flexi-Glass happen about 2 weeks ago. It is possible that another set of bodywork had gotten approval since. I wonder if there is a list of approved vendors for the AMA. It would be cool to find out. |

AMA Pro Racing has a list of parts/components in their homologation area. Based on Richie Morris' experiences with Flexiglass, it is safe to assume he's continuing to use it - you can't blame the radiator pod "wardrobe malfunction" on Flexiglass!! Higbee runs Flexiglas on one of his bikes, runs Buell Racing carbon on the other. Knowing that he's on a shoestring "starving privateer" budget, I doubt he'd switch both bikes to factory graphite bodywork unless a sponsor paid for it. |

I actually found it. http://admin.amaproracing.com/assets/DSB_Eligible_ Equipment_List.pdf Buell Racing bodywork is approved. It must have gotten approval very recently as it is at the bottom of the list and typed in red. All the others are in black. Cool. |
