got a 08 883xlc added to my stable. Does anyone know of some cheap easily removable sadle bages I can get for it? I currently have the quick detach sissy bar and luggage rack. I was wondering what would be needed to get a cheap set of saddle bags on it for weekend trips and not have to remove all kinds of crap/hardware each tine. Also I keep dragging parts on this thing..haha. Its because of my miles with tthe buell. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to raise the heigth/clearence of the bike from the road. Tires, aftermarket shocks, any tips would be good. Thanks |

not sure about the bags but the best clearance and handling would be achieved with 12" Progressive shocks. |

go with the tBag over the back of the backrest, they are huge, several varieties, and no pesky hardware to add or take off when riding with out the bag. For a cornering Sportster... you should have got the R model |
