Done trying to sell my Pristine Custom RS1200. Time to see if the pieces have any value, 'cause the whole bike is apparently just a curiosity. Anybody here interested in: Complete Aerocharger turbo system, including rebuilt turbocharger, special Mikuni carb, pipes, all tubing and hoses, fuel pump, Dyna™ ignition module, turbo mount, anything else turbo related that's on the bike now. No intercooler - never had one and didn't seem to need it. Pipe is actually for an S2, and has been hammered to clear my RS frame, on the back side of the pipe. I am pretty sure it will NOT fit later bikes that the rear pipe goes under the frame. 100+ rear wheel HP, from a bone-stock 1991 Buell/XL 60-ish HP motor. Looking for $2600 Remember - this stuff is 'unobtainium'! The rest of the pieces of the bike will show up here first, then onto fleabay as sales dictate. AL PS - Bike is still in one piece, so if any wants to see, hear or feel the turbo system in operation, it can be done. You'll need to come to Glendale CA. Bring your hat. Not crazy. I paid $7500CAN for mine. Very nice looking bike but do you think it would be worth more if it was "original"? (Message edited by buellinator on March 05, 2009) |

No orig bodywork - it went to the midwest and could be seen on recent Chicago C-list ad for a project RS1200 '91 or'92. A guy on here named Bart bought it. I personally couldn't put it back to stock as (PLEASE - This is my OPINION!-) the white RS1200 with the flip-up seat was the 2nd ugliest bike ever built! The Black or blue RSS bikes being the prettiest. |
