Was at Destination Daytona last Saturday and found out they moved everything Buell next door into the Arlen Ness / Triumph / Ducati ect... showroom. Yet Suckerpunch Sally is still in with Harley. Any thoughts? I was wondering why. Same ownership I suppose and service for all brands is still done at the Harley shop I believe. But there are no more Buell motorcycles or gear in the big Harley showroom anywhere. |

You mean at the world's largest Harley dealer. That place is a palace, isnt it. I believe Shelly Rossmeyer owns or manages the Buell/Ducati/Triumph dealership. (Message edited by Ferris_von_bueller on March 09, 2009) |

ah - finally!! the beginning of the "put Buells with sportbikes" approach at [rare] H-D/multi-line dealerships Rossmeyer may well have both the cojones and the sales numbers to resist any mothership interference it's way past time for this rational approach!! |

There's alrady been HD dealers doing this, I believe one was already in FL somewhere. If memory serves, the "other" dealership muct be owned by the HD dealer and be in the same complex, if not close to the existing HD dealer. (Message edited by Buellinachinashop on March 09, 2009) |

I recall Seminol (sp) had a stand alone Buell store in affiliation with the HD dealership but I wasn't aware they were selling Buell sportbikes alongside the Euro sportbikes which I think would be fantastic. |

Ferris, That is correct about Shelly managing the new store. In fact, she sold me my bike! I can't say enough good things about her and their dealership. The people were so helpful and I got a killer deal! I think they are really trying to push the Buell line, so they are willing to work with you. I would certainly recommend them to anyone interested in a new bike! |

Yeah Seminole Buell is a stand alone dealership in the old Seminole Harley building that built a new place in town, not sure who owns them. Destination is the huge two story place in Ormond Beach owned by Rossmeyer. A hundred feet away or so is the Ducati / Buell ect...building. Don't think they have their own service or parts dept though. |

Hey Jimmy, Haven't seen ya in a while, I usually drive by the warehouse once a week or so, but I keep missing you. Went to Destination a couple of times to get parts you can only buy from the "dealer" and they didn't even have them, lens' shift rubbers, ect. Rode to Seminole, they had them, but they closed the old shop (Buell). Hope to see you soon, Al. |

Seminole used to have a stand alone store, but they are now in the New Harley Store now too. Which sucks because the old one was in Winter Park, right next to where I live now, but they do have a Buell only spot in the store..... |

Stopped by the new "Shelly Rossmeyer Motorcycles of Daytona" which btw prominently displays Buell motorcycles and accessories in a classy and tasteful setting, along with Ducati and Triumph. Great motorcycles all together and Tony Angelo too. It's about time these bikes got a store worthy of their overall greatness. Way to go Shelly. now could we just stock a few essential parts? hmmmmmmmmmm |
