That's called a NACA duct.

Someone should install a NACA duct on top of their airbox. I'm sure the intake noise would be loud and it wouldn't be exactly "waterproof" but it'd serve as a RAM system and may help at the top end.

Rocket I've seen 2 different aftermarket hood scoops now for our Buells. One has 2 scoops and the other has 1 huge scoop on top. I'd probably buy one but they're only sold from overseas online sites and i'm not sure how they'd affect the bike's performance and Air/Fuel ratio. Let me know if you plan to make any intake scoop mods and how it turns out.

I don't see how such a massive wing stays put with such spindly little mounts. I bet that thing flops all over the place! Those aluminum wings aren't very sturdy to begin with....
