Actually it is what happens when you need a need a new set of tires and you're away from school on a co-op and don't have access to the school's race car shop/your own personal machine shop. I took off the wheels with my hand tools and a bottle jack out of my car. Needless to say, the bike ended up tipping over on its right side right as I removed the front wheel. It only scratched the paint a little and broke the rear turn signal. I guess it's a good time to trim the under tail a little more, install mini turn signals, and repaint the bike blue and white, instead of that free greenish/sliver color that I got.

Be careful what you apply the bottle jack to. Someone recently posted a pic of cracked engine cases caused by that. (The suggestion was to use a block of wood to distribute the weight.)

Put the jack under the front mount of the rear shock.
