A set of front pegs and a front brake lever for a 12R. I looked at Buell's website and they only list replacements for the S models. I don't want my pegs any lower. Also, is the front brake lever the same as the rest of the Harley levers? Could I find a nice billet lever for a Harley and use that? I would imagine they make some nice adjustable ones for Harleys... I found the billet adjustable one from American Sport Bike but if I could find an OEM replacement I'd rather do that. edited by m1combat on January 20, 2004 |

I had a set of Buell "Traction" pegs on my 'S' for a while, they are simular to the 'R' pegs in that they don't have the 1" drop. The traction pegs were quite confortable, and reduced the vibration alot, the only reason I went back to OE pegs was that my Alpinestar Moto-X boots were starting to chew-up the rubber that surrounds the peg. |

Just to keep it in the family so to speak I'll give a call to my local dealer (They seem Buell friendly except for the older service guy). If they aren't IN STOCK there, I'll probably call DaveS as that's who I got the bike from. If he doesn't have them, I'll take yours . Thank you for doing the research for me. I just got my 1K service done and while it was being washed I walked around back to say Hi to the guy washing it. The older service guy was walking by and muttered "XB, L, M, N, O, P..."... He noticed me standing there after his "comment" and disgusted look and just walked away. I love being a 3%er . |

"XB, L, M, N, O, P..."... That would be a great t-shirt, and would annoy the hell out of the old service guy. |

Yeah, I hadn't thought about it, but that would make a good t-shirt. I should have responded with FLH L. O. O. S. E. R... edited by m1combat on January 20, 2004 |

Or just sing out lightly "B. A. S. T. A. R. D." Probably would have caught on quickly in the service bay and haunted him for the whole year. |

Dave, Thanks so much for the Belt Upgrade kit, got it today (Tues 1/20). I am stoked. Thanks again for the screamin' price and great service. I will be ordering from you only from now on. What kind of deal can I get on a Case of Syn oil. Also, did you get my message about the tail light lens? I am assuming that the extra $15 charge was for shipping which is totally cool. Anyway, hope all is well up there, it is really nice down here in Phoenix. Thanks again. Morgan PS, to all of you out there that need anything, talk to Dave or Brian, they are the best there are (until I get done with MMI of course) |
