When I tryed to buy Passenger Peg Slider I was told that there is not enough intrest to justify stocking them.

So I designed one and will machine a set this week. They will be made of 7075 Aluminum Bar stock and will accept Dark Horse replacable black Delrin sliders.

My question is, Is there anyone else that is interested. If you are, I will send you a drawing so you can see it for yourself. When my designer get in today I will get him to reformat the drawing and try to post it.

Hey I'll buy a set to help justify! Also, see my HUD Shade request. I think we could use a small machined shade hood to go over the top of the HUD to cut out some of the glare during the day. Just an idea as well. Cardboard wouldn't look as good. I have a shade hood for my Scan Master II on my GN and it works perfectly to cut the glare.

I'll post some pick when I get them finished. I just gave the drawing to my machine shop engineer so they should be done latter in the week. I got the material from an internet supplier that deals in small quantities instead of buying a whole 12' bar.

Hi Les,

Any idea(s) as to how much per complete set when ready? I'd be interested in a set. Also, would it be possible to laser engrave the ends with Pegasus??? Might be a nice touch.

I've gotten quite a few compliments on my "Pegasus" rider heel guards. They came out fairly decent considering they're hand made as opposed to CNC'd. I tried finding someone to make a CNC'd set, but, everybody I tried wanted LARGE orders, so I just made a set by hand. IMHO they add a little more character over the stock units, and are very functional.

Thanx for your efforts, Tracy

Tracy,
I am only purchasing the raw materials and having it machined in my machine shop because they are not currently available to buy, that I have seen.

I will have a price hopefully latter this week when the machining is finished. How ever the material was about $30 and paying the machinist another $30 + shipping. So I
would think some where around $80.

As for the replaceable end, I spoke to Keith @ Dark Horse and sent him a drawing to let him know that I had mentioned his name in this thread. He said he has the replaceable black Delrin slider ends that can be ordered on his web sight @ Dark Horse Moto LLC. He may be able to get the sliders engraved for you. I have his sliders on my front and back wheel and they are perfect. thats why I designed the mount around his slider end cap.

I just want to remind you that I am not selling these!!! I will only facilitate the machining and shipping to you. There is no warranty no liability on my part.
I will make sure the parts fit correctly and function and look good, the rest is your responsablity

If you have any other ?'s pm me.

Looks good. Not for me, cause of the bags and I use my rt side passenger peg to hang my helmet when stopping for a bit.

That's some pretty darn cool toys you have there to play with!
