We had 60s yesterday and today. Unfortunately we had 20s on Wednesday morning, and I found the one patch of ice on the way out of my driveway. Thank goodness, I have a backup bike, just a shame I don't have a backup suit. ARGH, oh well, I wanted to order a 'Stich anyway. | ||

We had 68 here yesterday. But I had to work. Today, around 60...and rain. Still working. Saturday....cold again. Back into the 50's, and more rain.  But I'm waving flags down at TallyGP for Elite Saturday, so let it rain.  | ||

Guys, in central New Mexico we've had low-70s all week. Unusual but nice. Course the mornings are still mid-30s. Hard to dress for days like that. Bad wind will start soon. --Doc | ||

Last saturday was nice and decided I just had to take a little ride. One thing lead to another and the next thing you know I'm eating clam chowder at Moro Bay. 450 miles after leaving home I got back again. Guess I needed to get that out of my system. | ||

Sunny enough in Central NY yesterday - put battery back in - went thru the check list - tweaked everything just a tad. Fired up on 1st hit. Still lots of gravel on the secondary roads. Rain today might wash some off. | ||

Picking up my Uly after its 12,000 mile service tomorrow morning...should be nice and nippy in the upper 30s, but I haven't ridden it in a couple weeks and it'll have a new front tire to break in and evaluate (a Sync), so I'm stoked. | ||

What keeps me going is in six weeks me and my Uly will be camping by my river spot with a big fat trout on the line. Then stopping at my lake spot to watch the sunset glisten off the lake with the Eagles and Pelicans overhead. | ||

Well the sun is gone and it is rainy and windy as he!!. Tomorrow we are back into the deep freeze for another few weeks. Winter sucks, but it makes you appreciate spring so much more. You guys who can ride year round are missing out on that, I sorta feel bad for ya......yeah right!  | ||

This first week with my Uly, it's been in the 80's here. I'm averaging about 100 miles per day commuting (it's a 17 mile ride, normally), but work still sucks a big chunk out of the day. Still, with bike payments, it's probably best if I keep at it. It's supposed to be in the upper 80's this weekend. Heh. | ||

It's supposed to be in the high 30s today. I think I'll ride up to Manchester H-D/Buell and pick up the Master Cylinder cover I ordered. The weather on TV is talking about TWO successive snow storms coming that will leave about a foot and a half accumulation. I'd better get my ride in today, before it all goes to hell. | ||

High of 70 yesterday. Took the day off (it was my birthday) and rode about 150 miles running an errand and just tooling around. High in the mid 70's today, but rain now and storms later. High in the 40's tomorrow with possible snow! | ||

It's a balmy 26 here. So, I rode up to Kutter HD in Janesville, WI. and picked up a mesh buell jacket with the christmas money I've been holding for it. $127.50 + tax came to $134.51. I'm happy. |
