The white ones may be faster, but the black and blue ones are the FASTEST! (That white one does look sweet with that pipe, though) |

Actually, in a highly classified document, which for obvious reasons I can't post here, it was specifically stated that the '08 black & blue were THE FASTEST. Thus the reason they are no longer offered, and were only sold for the '08 model year. And you thought it was because of the 25th anniversary, didn't you? |

Welcome to the board Ironduece22 As for your questions...Most will say you NEED some type of fuel upgrade but im not 100% convinced on that it just takes the bike 100 to 200 miles to adjust to what it thinks its right....Although i do agree with a good tune there is ALOT of improvement to be had even with a stock exhaust. Here is a good thread about making a K&N to fit http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/384034.html And the steering damper im looking into the steering damper right now along with frame sliders if you do some searching on the forums you can find out alot.. |

I have the Buell Racing dampner. It was a pain in the butt to install. Due to the fact it had no instructions on how to install it. After putting it together and taking it apart a had full of times along with a few mods I figured it out. Looking back at it if it had came with instructions it wouldn't have been to mad. The bike does feel better with the dampner and I am glad I bought it. |

And the price on the damper please? Also, is it available without a racing license? |

I emailed Chris today at Jardine to see when they were planning on coming out with the tuner really good guy..... From: "Chris Neely" <cneely@jardineproducts.com> Add sender to Contacts To: "gti1976@yahoo.com" <gti1976@yahoo.com> Thank for the recognition! You will be very happy with the card when it comes to market. There is another setup in the making that will impress you even more. It's a entire closed loop system where you target the air fuel ratio. And it's completely dynnamic and no ecm wire cutting. I will try and keep you guys up to date with it as much as possible. Chris Here is another email i got back from Chris Shover from Dobeck Performance: "Chris Shover" <cshover@dobeckperformance.com> Add sender to Contacts To: gti1976@yahoo.com Russ, Currently we don't offer any fuel controllers for 2009 Buells. I would suggest to get a hold of Mac at Battley Cycle. They are located in Maryland. Here is their phone number: 301-948-4581. I believe they might make a controller for the 2009 Buell or may be in the process of developing one. If you have any other questions please let me know. That makes the 08' white and blue ones all the more faster to my knowledge there's only 2 on bad web, and probably only a couple more in the country, they were so fast that they were a special top secret only model... Thems the facts. Jake |

Actually, the black absorbs more light waves, allowing it to be faster. The white ones refract more light, causing resistance to movement. Think of the black ones as race cars that dont have to fight the wind, compared to cars that need to push through the wind. Except its light waves, and they are motorcycles. |

actually with the black absorbing all that light it makes it that much heavier and therefore slower than the ever lightining white, also with the absorbing light waves it creates more heat in the engine and intake, in turn making less horsepower Jake (Message edited by ridenusa4l on February 16, 2009) |
