I posted in Knowledge Vault and sounds like my problem is either a poorly adjusted pawl or a bad pawl return spring in the clutch basket in the primary. I'm stuck away from home at my wife's car dealership with access to tools but don't have a service manual here. Anyone have a schamatic they can get to me? |

Have you replaced the SPRING PLATE PN 37977-90 known as the "GRENADE PLATE" yet ??? (Message edited by buellistic on February 25, 2009) |

No. unfortunatly I don't know much history on the bike. I have had it for about 6 months, and my brother had purchased it from someone who had it sitting in their barn for a long time before that. My brother is a HD Softail guy and the Buell isn't "his thing" so he called me from Iraq and gave me the bike over the phone. So I guess you can say its an orphan Buell. But I took it in and fell in love with it! |
