I've run about 100 miles with my stock exhaust modified and just checked the AFV's. They are 85.5 front and 90 rear. Are these safe numbers and are they rich or lean? They just seem to be much different than others posted here. I also know that more engine noise will be heard, but I seem to be getting alot more valve noise on deceleration. Is this normal? |

Mine(all stock) has run 85.5F/89.5R ever since it was new. I have 12K on it. |

What were they before? If they were around 100, then whatever you did diminished the airflow, and it pulled out some fuel. Big questions is, did it change from stock. R |

<100 is removing fuel. >100 is added fuel. Not sure what yours were before, but mine with stock exhaust have always been locked solid at 100/100. |

Mine was at 100/100 with stock exhaust and after modifying exhaust, K&N and topless it was still at 100/100. Like everyone said what was it before. |

I believe it was 95/100 stock. Maybe the pipe is opened to much. XBSwede, how much of your baffling did you remove on yours? Mine had the tubes leading to the tips removed and the lower, larger tube was untouched. (Message edited by cobradave93 on March 21, 2009) |

I just got back from the dealership, and they said the noise was the slipper clutch. Also checked the AFV's and they changed to 94.5 front and stayed 90 in rear. |

Hey Rick, It is most commonly done with the ECMspy software. You would use the cable that you got with the exhaust to connect your bike to a PC or laptop. ECMspy is a very cool and powerful program that can tell you a bunch about your bike, plus its free. You can google search for it and just download it. Once you get it everything is in German, but there is a function inside the program that lets you flip it to english. Call me if you need help. Pete |

Hold down both buttons on the display, turn on the key, then scroll thru the parameters, and you will come to the AFV's... Rob |
