Author Message   M1combat Posted on Sunday, February 15, 2009 - 08:10 pm:        A friend of mine is replacing his isolators. He's not sure which goes on which side. They're marked "L" and "R", but one of the local dealerships states that they're installed from the point of view of someone looking at the bike from standing in front of it (the auto industry standard as applied to the engine bay of a car), I would think it should be from the point of view while sitting on the bike. Which is correct? Does the "R" marked isolator go on the right side as you're sitting on the bike, or on the right side while standing in front of the bike looking at the bike? It is and always has been the operators point of reference. Half the time I get a blank stare, the rest "get it". Be careful if you ask a British or Japanese rider... Z
