XBMacon - I lived in Macon for 2 years and still have family there. *** Here is my Buell story with a little more info. It was listed for $4300 on craigslist. My wife called and offered $3500. After finding out it had been for sale for a few months and a longer discussion she was able to get him to take $3500. (Yes, she can negotiate!!) We met that day a few hours later in the middle of the distance. Well...he the battery was dead and he couldn't get it started even by trying to jump it off. He swore it was just fouled plugs. Plus, it needed tires and had been more than just "fell over" on the right side. It has a dent on the right side of the frame. After we pointed out those details we were able to get him to $3000. It has 8900 miles. I took it home for the $3000. I have since bought a battery, replaced the plugs, and changed the gas. It runs like a charm. The new tires on the way along with the ECMSpy cable, Owners Manual, Helmet, and Tires. The only "surprise" so far is the (I don't know what it is called.) rear frame piece the seat mounts to and the right rear ped mount. I need to get that thing. I love it!! | ||

Welcome to our nightmare, I think you're gonna like it....I think you're going to feel right at home. Actually there is no nightmare about it...other than the long winter months. You've found the best resource there is as a Buell owner when you found BadWeB, and this is also the best bunch of people in motorcycling to boot. I just hope you enjoy your Buell half as much as I enjoy mine. | ||

Here are photos of my XB12SS I just bought from a local car dealer. He had it on ebay at $3500 starting bid, and I went to just have a look. Ended up buying it for $4800. Under 5000 miles, shaved tail, and micro front turn signals, but otherwise stock. I prefer the stock signals if anyone wants to trade. Tail light is also rear turn signals, too. My 4th Buell, too!  | ||

Looks good! By chance does the tail light have 2 strips for the running section? and happen to be pretty darn bright? I sold a light to a fella whos bike looked EXACTLY like that.
