Is there such an animal? Riding the S2 yesterday on a longer ride, it started out fine - 14v, happiness. Then 12v. Then 10. Turned off some of my crap (aux lights, heated jacket/gloves), right back up. Stator test, VR test, and battery test all show good. I think with all the stuff turned on, I'm just pulling too many amps for the system. OEM is a 29967-89C. Does anyone offer an upgraded-output stator for this? It's a '95 S2. As I noted, the system is *working*...it just doesn't have enough ass to feed all the stuff I have plugged into it |

Funny you should ask: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/433236.html?1233572275 My Missus is wanting the electric vests and stuff so I'm thinking about giving this a try. |

Hm. Interesting read, that. I don't know if I need to tackle it to that depth just yet though - mine seems to work fine if I unload it a bit (lights off or jacket off; it just doesn't like both at once). But I'll keep that bookmarked, just in case |

Is it an issue if you keep the revs up? I could see how idling in traffic would create a drain. And if you were measuring the voltage, I assume that's at idle? |
