yea that is the deal at my buddy's place, he's got 2 projects going in a 2 car garage. He'll let me roll the 68ish van outside to work on stuff but if it's raining or snowing no deal. He has a little bullet heater that runs on propane so there is heat.
The only problem is time. I have a bunch of stuff to do to the Jeep and by the looks of it, so do you.
tie rod, posi-lok for the frontend, exhaust pipe, steering shaft & bleed my clutch. There may be more but that's the jist of it.
I'll talk to my buddy tomorrow and let you know. I have no idea what he'll say. I say that cause he's got....... umm...... err...... how can I put this??? ........ um....... issues. Let's just leave it at that.
I got space, but can't offer much help... got my own project going: my garage is a two-car tandem and I'm building up the inside with a workbench & storage shelving, so you'll get to deal with the noise of a ripsaw, sawdust, and the stink of wood glue.
Oh- and as I'm sure Fagbolt will chime in, I'm crap for automotive tools so bring what you need. And how tall is your truck? I've got a shallow garage door (~7ft).
And I drink Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, in case you were interested.
You posted as I typed-- Let me know when you need space & I'll let you know if it's available.
Let me know when you get all your shit together and I'll see if I can get you in. No need to ask now I guess. My buddy's garage is fully stocked so you wouldn't need to bring any tools unlike Johnny Long Neck's place.
Sorry, thought I made it clear... I posted in hopes of some advance notice....
No worries, I got my own tools... just, being in TX so long, working outside, anytime of year, was never a problem... well, except late afternoons in the summer(which was reserved ice cold drinks)....
Hey, Jeff I know tripp didn't rape you to hard he was tired from getting me. Nice air cleaner, the next part needed but,I have to save up some $ just spent all of it.
