Cazy...I got light headed/fainted at the top of the stairs at my house. Next thing i knew I was at the bottom with nancy yelling at me to see if I was OK. My right side is a mess. Foot, knee, ribs, shoulder and neck are sore. A couple of days with Nancy and our interior decorator shopping for condo furniture hasn't helped either!! Frank |

Rest up for Bike Week! Any idea what caused the fainting? Getting old is a bitch. Any word on your Triumph? |

Triumph is being held hostage by Todd's painter. I am now getting nervous as having it for the Tropical Tattoo and Limp Nickie Lot bike shows is getting iffy!! |

Saw a Honda 750 Bobber on Craig's list for $2100. You could use that as back-up. |

Battery is 3 years old... but part of that time was when I was having regulator problems. That may have taking it's toll plus I've been running mine a wee bit more with a lot of start & stops? We need to get Sam to stop traveling... those damn jobs keep getting in the way. Next week we need to do an email blast! |

BUELLers: Here is a little insight on my BATTERIES over the years on my 1997 S3T ... "i" use a BATTERY "PLUS" Charger and keep it on my BATTERY when not riding ... Also use it to tell me when "i" need to replace my BATTERY by using the GREEN LED will indicate when the battery is having a problem floating by not going to a solid glow and just flickers ... If you run your BATTERY until you get the last ELECTRON out of it you will not only get to replace the BATTERY, "BUT" the VOLTAGE REGULATOR, STATOR, and the MONEY in your wallet ... In the 15 years that "i" have owned my 1997 S3T it still is running the OEM Voltage Regulator and Stator, "BUT" "i" have replaced a several BATTERIES over the years ... AND YOU WANT TO CHECK THE TIGHTNESS OF YOU BATTERY TERMINALS EVERY 5K MILES !!! |

The guy building my Triumph just won Best Bobber at the Grand National Roadster Show in CA. If you know what the GNRS is you know that this is a relatively big deal. Now finish my bike!

Nice... any communication from the guy? Isn't that the same blue as your bike? Rich, LaFayette, I'm not registered on Buell BB but you might want to mention that there will be lots of cars in Mount Dora this weekend as it is the Mount Dora Art Festival. It draws about 100,000 people daily. Depending on my getting things done Saturday, I hope to make it up there. |

Actually won three trophies! That is why I am patient. I am expecting a quality build. From Todd's blog: JUST GOT BACK FROM THE GNRS, AND WHAT AN AMAZING TRIP. 3300 MILES IN LESS THAN 5 DAYS. THE SHOW WAS JUST AS I HAD ALWAYS IMAGINED IT WOULD BE, IF NOT BETTER. I HAD ENTERED THE BLUE BIKE AT THE LAST MINUTE, AS IT HAD JUST GOT BACK FROM JAPAN AND THE NEW OWNER WANTED TO FLY IN AND SEE THE SHOW. THE BIKE WAS FILTHY FROM ITS TRAVELS, NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT THIS BIKE HAS ACTUALLY HAD SOME MILES PUT ON IT, SO I WASN'T REALLY EXPECTING TO WIN ANYTHING. IT ACTUALLY ENDED UP TAKING 3 AWARDS HOME. IT GOT THE VON DUTCH PINSTRIPING AWARD (THE FIRST TIME ITS EVER BEEN GIVEN TO A BIKE), FIRST IN CLASS, AND OUTSTANDING MOTORCYCLE OVERALL. I WAS AND STILL AM SHOCKED. ITS A HUGE HONOR AND I AM VERY PROUD OF THE BIKE. THANKS
