Looks good in this case. I think the tankbag makes the higher bubble look good. I still would like to see some pics sans tank bag |

I did some runs between 70 and 90mph. 70 and above it is quieter than the stock windshield. I'm satisfied that this a real improvement. Neil S. |

Ccryder, who did you order your windscreen from and how did you get it so fast? |

I wrote Al @ AmericanSportBike in his forum and he said he put in his order to ZG Jan 9th and an order usually takes 4-5 weeks. He said it should be any time now. Check it out. Bob |

Jason: I just took a chance. As soon as I saw Al's test fitting "mules", I wrote him and asked for the DB. I didn't even know if they were for sale or would have to be returned to ZG. Sometimes manufactures want them back, sometimes they sell them, I got lucky on both sides. I was the first to ask and first to come across with the $'s. No secrets here, I just asked for it and it came through. Time2Run Neil S. |

Neil got one of the three first articles that were used for the photograph session earlier in this thread. They fit fine, no changes, so those were sold normally and went quickly. The fitment of those is what cleared the way for for the first production order. We should be getting them any time. It's the slow season, so my guess is that ZeroG isn't buried in orders at present. |

There has been a lot of interest expressed here for the Corsa screen from Zero Gravity. That screen has finally materialized, but I think it is going to be a disappointment for folks that have been looking into them. Some background: ZeroG once made their initial ST windscreen for the 1125R, and it utilized essentially 1 double size blank to build one screen. So right off the bat, the MATERIAL costs were double. So they came up with the ST screen that they released that didn't take two blanks. It was quite a bit higher than stock, but was kinda funky looking, IMHO. Too "bubbly". Fast forward several months, word comes out about the "Corsa" screen. Lots of conflicting info about what is an ST screen and what is a Corsa Screen. But some pictures of the new Corsa screen were released, here's a couple:
Just about this time, Erik Buell Racing spoke to ZeroG about making a taller, NON-Double-Bubble profile racing screen. Since the original concept of the Corsa screen WAS as a racing screen, ZeroG decided to release THIS screen as the Corsa screen instead. I got some last week (smoke and clear only, no colors or Dark Smoke will be made), and took some pictures of it this weekend. Here are a few of those:
It was pretty clear that these were shorter than the original ST zeroG screens, so I took a couple photos of the new corsa screen (smoke) next to an ST screen (blue) that we have here.
The door isn't shut on making the taller Corsa screen as well, but I think there will need to be some pent up demand for it in order to get that one released. Al |

Al, thank you for the (disappointing) news. Shame they didn't stick to the plan with the original Corsa, that was perfect in my book. |

Is that blue ST for sale? That's pretty much what I wanted to try out. |

Well, THAT one is broken, but sufficed for the photoshoot. But I do have one more in stock, orderable here: http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/16301.html You have first dibs on it if you order it in the next day. As far as whether we'll get more of them, we'll see. If the demand is there, we can. I was hoping that the new bigger Corsa screen would replace it, but now I really don't know if or when we'll see that one. Al |

i'd like a tall windscreen in blue. i'd like for it not to crack and fall apart, which, reprtedly is a problem with the original ST. i've been waiting the better half of a year for the release of the corsa, so why would i not let my self get strung along s'more? so Al, hows about the taller corsa windscreen in blue? i'll buy one. |

I'm pulling change out of the couch right now. It's possible that I might be able to pull it off. If I can't get it together to place the order in 24 hours I guess I'll just have to survive. Thanks Al. |

Genuine Zero Gravity Buell 1125R Dark Smoke Double Bubble Windscreen BRAND NEW IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING Part Number 16-859-19 Fits '08-later 1125R models. I bought this a few months ago and have done 3000 miles on it. I find it great. Is this anything to do with the ZG ST or Corsa?? This thread seems a bit confusing! |

Th code would be 23-859 for the ST. The -19 is for "dark smoke" color. I should kick my own ass for having Froggy link me to a thread I already posted in. I must be going senile. |
