I've taken two of my Bolts to the 1320 but with the rubber track, rubber tires, V-twin motor, and 52" wheelbase I don't do to good. I imagine the Uly's longer wheelbase may help a bit. Raise the rear and lower the front and see what happens. I have found dragracing to be quite fun no matter what your times are. |

I wouldn't go expecting to set the world on fire with the Uly's relatively high center of gravity and relatively short wheelbase, but I've been wrong before! Don't go there to race anyone else the first time, just work on your reaction times and shift points the first time. Racing the clock prevents mistakes that happen when the ego causes bad choices in the quest for the win. Been there done that. |

I've done it and it's impossible to launch off the line quickly but damn good fun.

I have ran mine several times. I just rode it there, removed my tank bag (required) and got in line. I made no special prepartions to the bike. VERY hard to keep the front wheel down on launch. 12.94 ET (Message edited by debueller on February 09, 2009) |

That's what I do. I ride it there Friday nights, run it 4,5,6,or 7 times for $24 and rode it home. Good clean fun without tickets and points. Plus it's really cool to pull up next to a dropped, stretched, turboed Busa that runs 8's or 9's. |
