I'm looking for some help here. The AMA and MOTO ST sites aren't quite clear. I have found this much out: - MOTO ST race March 1-2 (but I am not sure) - Daytona 200 March 7th I'd like to know the schedule a little better, such as when practice occurs or when the different classes run. I'm actually considering going, but I need to understand the calendar a little better before I pull the trigger on buying the flight. And yeah, is anybody else going? Maybe we could organize having a brew somewhere or something. Thanks |

Don't forget the weekend before, CCS/ASRA. Lots of Buell participation there too! |

I'm going.. Just ordered flight tickets. I'm excited! Sorry Mike, but it is too much of a stretch to come in for the CCS/ASRA the weekend before. Boss needs me and I need the gig. Anybody else going? |

I will be going, for sure the weekend of the CCS races. Hoping to see the AMA racing depending on how much time and/or cash I have! By the way if there are any racers that need help that weekend I would glad to lend a hand if needed! |

I have the choice of shooting @ Daytona or the Iditarod sled dog race. They both start on the 7th. I still have not decided 100% I'm leaning toward Iditarod. If I dont go to Daytona I will probably shoot some other AMA races. |

Ozzie - you can feel free to stop in up at Antelope Valley as we're putting Pinson's bike together. We're rigging up the quick change front next week... bunch of 11th hour stuff when you look at how little time there is before March. I'm stuck in Texas this week and poor Steve (Service Writer at Antelope Valley) is trying to get the bike together for the racing season... and it's kinda tough with just a few working weeks left. I assume Pinson will let you know what/when/how you can help in all the pre-Daytona efforts. At least when the front end gets rigged up, you might want to "preview" how it functions. I'm just helping out wherever I can - and Pinson is trying to do what he can but he's literally on the other side of the country so 'taint easy. If Sunny and I weren't closing on our new shop (and house) in a couple weeks, I'd actually consider GOING to Daytona... but with my OWN racing and the impending move OUT of the condo (and storage and borrowed shop) and INTO the house, I'm pretty swamped. (and then complicate that by FORCED travel for work...) Racing is MUCH MORE FUN in the pits! (Message edited by slaughter on February 03, 2009) |

so...... map quest says its 944.14 miles from my house to Daytona... round that up... round trip would be about 2000 miles, divide that by 45 miles a gallon, multiply that by $2.5 bucks a gallon... $111.10 for gas... Where is the camp ground?! I can be a tire boy for someone??.... |

It will almost certainly be there after the 14th. Not sure when they're going to ship to Daytona. Stay in touch. There's no point getting it out any earlier unless Pinson needs to do work on it before first practice at Daytona. |
