I live in Billings also. I wouldn't mind meeting up sometime...if you don't mind I ride an XB9S and X-1. Did you ride this weekend? Enjoy it while you can, eh? -droo |

Sure did ride a little. I got pulled over thanks to my running light though. Have to get that straightened out sometime but it's always nice to get to ride even if it's only for a couple of days a month. |

If it's any consolation, I've always been intrigued by the idea of living in Montana. Two references--- one is from the Hunt for Red October film (Vasily Borodin's dying wish is to live there), another is from Dennis Quaid, who, in an interview, once said that Montana is what people think of when they imagine the rugged landscapes of untamed-Old-West-era Texas (maybe thanks to early Clint Eastwood films, which were actually shot in Italy!). There must be some great rides around you. I've got flat, flat and more flat! At least it's warm here, though. |

I'm not close to you guys but every time I head east from Butte on I90 that pass is great. I Imagine it on my 1125R and it makes me want to do an overnighter just to do that one in particular. Many others west of you guys in Billings. Great areas around Big Timber, Livingston and Bozeman. Just what Buell's were made for and the scenery is outstanding. |
