Has anyone used Screamin’ Eagle exhaust port gaskets on their XB engines? They’re quite a bit different then the factory gaskets. Instead of being beveled they’re flat. The parts guy recommended I use them, but I wanted to check here before I decided.
Thanks in advance, Paul

get them or the basic early square ones. they dont squish into the port and flow much better.

I got em sitting here to be installed with the new header.

Xopti suggested them a while back, seems like a better design to me.

now if i can only find the darn time to actually work on the bike!!!!!!!
(had parts piling up for just over a YEAR now! Just waiting on me to install.)

Too many lights to get done....so bike projects gotta wait!

Sounds like I should use them. I'm thinking the torque specs for the header nuts will be less likely to loosen and the better flow will be nice.
Thanks guys.

Shouldn't matter but I'm going to have the stock headers ceramic coated. Will that make any difference using Screamin' Eagle gaskets?
