Locally there's a gut that has been craigslisting his '09 Street Bob with only 250 miles, dropping the price almost daily. Poor bast'd lost job and "must sell". It's down to 12,000. LA area. Shipping across the country would put that price right back up to what you'd pay for a MSRP unit in NY, unfortunately. AL | ||

The incentive for a dealer to discount a 2008 model is because of it costing them money and it's in their inventory. Locating and getting a bike just so you can discount it doesn't make any sense. | ||

FXDFs were very popular and sold very quickly. I think that you may have a hard time finding a 2008 leftover, and if you do it's because the dealership in possession of it didn't take the opportunity to sell it when they had a chance. (Message edited by eboos on February 09, 2009) | ||

My local dealer has a used 08. He has a couple 09's. They'll have only one by the end of next week of the 09's. My buddy is getting ready to cut up another one. He does brand new one off's with them. Very very unique. | ||

if you want a good deal on a FXDF, get the mid controls. Alot of riders preferred the forwards.... and so the mids sat around, me I prefer them in the center of the bike. | ||

I'm a fan of the mid's too, you can always put on highway pegs. Thanks or the advice everyone. |
