I tested them also using jeans and there is a lot of air flow in that area plus your legs are pointing slightly outwards. If anything, it is cooler on the legs than standard. |

I'm nearly there!!! Just need to check clearances around the oil cooler pipes. I hope my local friendly dealer will let me poke around! |

I'm a bit more subtle than that (I think) and don't actually need to remove any bits. I also put some business their way so I'm hopeful! |

I love the idea, hate the look. I'm holding out for a better looking kit. I may be waiting forever as I'm not sure how the heck to make it look better. These do look like they will hold up nice. |

It is a tricky bit of kit to make aesthetically pleasing but it's prime job is functional. It looks better when the bike is all kitted-out and the black powder-coat is a bit more subtle.

I will be getting a set of these when you get the 08 model finished. I have been wanting something like this to unfold my arthritic knees on longer rides. |

Does your bike have these larger headers? If not, then there's a good chance it will fit and I just need to check clearance around the newer oil-cooler pipes.

Looks like my headers are the same as yours

Thanks for the picture. I'm a bit confused now. I went into a dealer recently and the newer Buells had much larger (longer) front headers - presume to make them both equal length. I thought this was on the new Firestorm engined bikes, obviously not! I have also seen pictures of older Ulysses with Carbon canisters on the LHS but presume these are for a particular state / emission level? Anyone able to clarify? I'm 90% sure my kit will fit your bike but still want to get my hands on a bike to check. |

are you gonna have a kit price for both bracket/windscreen/footpeg bracket when you get it all figured out. i had to take the windscreen off the xt altogether cause of the wind noise. just couldn't deal with it. not even the lower standard windscreen. i'm the same way with skyclad with the knees but normally i just dangle them for a while. |

Hi, prices all on my website (see profile) and of course can work out a deal for all the bits! |

maybe by the time you get the xt straitened out i'll be getting some overtime at work. also what about a throttle lock or cruise control of some kind. have you thought about that yet. |

Strada, the Euro 08+ bikes have a different header than the US models. The pics above even show this. Also, the carbon canister is on California models. I don't think you will have an issue with the clearance of it, but I haven't finished mounting mine yet so I can't take any measurements. |

Strada, I am thinking that I could get a set and let you know about fitting issues. Any chance of a discount for being a guinea pig? |
