Norice has had a NOS wet system on his XB9 for 3+ years now. I REALLY don't reccomend a "dry" system (does not add it's own fuel via an external fuel pump) that would require a map to add the needed fuel. This is a short path to a blown motor. In the past week Tim (Norice) has posted pics of his install. Do a search and it'll turn up. |

you have to go back a page from the above link to see the pics. There are also some threads in the Knowledge Vault under "more power" IIRC |

Did you have to change the management system? i already know i'm going to use a wet shot. who makes the nos kit you used. this isn't even for my bike it's for a buddy i really don't want to be married to his bike for life so trying to get as much info as possible so he can decide. |

You dont need to do anything to the ecm, but you may wish to run a Nitrous Controller of some sort. I just picked up a NOS Programmable Progressive Nitrous Controller at the end of last season. Running off the throttle is a bit risky. Running Dry is silly. Due to the high pressure fuel system your "Jetting" will be off 1-2 sizes depending on the shot used. I only ran a 12hp shot but it was still fun! It may be for sale soon, Thinking I may be going a different direction with the bike now.... we shall see... |
