I want to change the color of my dash from the while light to an amber lighted background, but I cant find a bulb to fit it anywhere... they are uber tiny and fed with 12volts of power. I've tried using LEDs and they dont light up well at all where can I find a colored bulb of this caliber???

I've seen bulb paint at auto parts stores that is designed to do exactly what you are looking for. The import guys have been doing it for years. |

Somebody covered this a few months back. Pretty sure it was here but it might have been on Buelletinboard. BTW, wouldn't the odometer be different? It's an lcd display. |

The LCD is getting its backlight from something. Its been a year since I last cracked open my cluster, so I don't recall if it was from inside the display itself. Gonna have to yank it apart now and figure it out |

email confirms that they are 12volt, SHIBEE!!! Yes, those are 12 volt bulbs. Yes, they are plug and play replacements for clear stock Those specific bulbs are still incandescent lights, just like your stock. The only difference is the color of the glass. |

I highly recommend Superlumination. I've bought quite a few items from them. Fast shipping, great prices, and great customer service. (Not affiliated with them in any way, just a satisfied customer!) |

Awwwwwww yeah! Now I have to decide which goes better with Sunset Orange: Blue, Green, or Purple! Thanks for finding that! BTW, how many bulbs are in our gauge clusters? I haven't pulled mine apart yet.... ~SM (Message edited by Swordsman on January 25, 2009) |
