I've been looking for a used, size medium, Vanson Buell jacket XRCH-BU53 and have been having no luck. Thought I would contact Vanson for a new one and this was the response I received from Nicole Medeiros via email: "sorry but as of 12/31/08 we no longer make or hold the Buell license to make products. sorry!!" I knew they were going through some hard times, but I didn't think they were going to stop producing Buell leathers. So if anyone has a medium leather Buell XRCH jacket they'd like to sell or know of someone I can contact, please do help! | ||

they deff still have few buell jackets in their store, or did as of a few weeks ago. maybe they brought them to the international motorcycle flea market ny? i'd call back and see if i could get a different person. they have a big warehouse room in the back. | ||

They (Vanson) may have some restriction on selling licensed product from their shop. I don't know for sure how it works, but you would need to buy a Buell jacket from a Buell dealership. I did get a Buell t-shirt from Vanson, but I think there are different restrictions since it also had a dealer logo on it. Call Tripp. Also, have you tried Appleton HD/Buell? They may be a little closer to you.  | ||

they were all marked down, like they were trying to get rid of them. i didn't realize it was cuz they lost the liscence. | ||

Just tried call Tripp at Precision and they were closed. I'll have to give him a call tomorrow. Talked with someone from Vanson and they said they do have a medium in stock - last one. She said they can only sell to a dealer, so I'll have to head to Appleton HD/Buell to see if they can order it for me. Thank you both for your help!! Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on one. | ||

Yeah, I saw they were marked down too. I didn't realize they lost the license until she said something. I stop and Appleton HD/Buell quite often. They have an XL in stock that has been on the sale rack forever. I'll see if they are willing to try and order one for me. | ||

Yeah, I'll talk to Tripp before I head down to the dealership in the next few days. I know Appleton is one of the sponsors here and they are my local dealer, but some weird things have been happening there in reference Buell lately. | ||

They emptied out there clothing pretty good from what I understand. Last week a friend was in there to buy me a belated Christmas gift and they had 6 shirts or so and told her they were getting rid of Buell merchandise that is in stock. Need to check it out | ||

Jim, that would be sweet. Only thing I'm worried about is the fit. I've tried on a large and I thought it was a little big. I'm hoping a medium will be perfect. Since I grew up and was friends with the owner of Appleton HD/Buell, I'm gonna talk to him and see if he could order it for the dealership so I can give it a try. I hate to drop that much and then it not fit. Definitely appreciate the offer! | ||

I didnt see it on buells website so i gave up trying to find one, wish i would have known that they still had 1 medium left. Cant complain about my new jacket though. | ||

I had a post about customized suits with Buell logos. Why not get a jacket and have Buell logos put on it. I'm pretty sure Buell wouldnt chase ya down for it! | ||

Eboos - you got it!! I specifically want that jacket. Good thing is, Tripp has got one!! You are the man Tripp!!  He's actually got 2 different Vanson Jackets. He's got a medium XR2(I think that's what it is) Perforated black leather with the gray band around the left arm that says Buell. Then he has a XRCH-Long in large. That puppy is mine!! If anyone is looking for the other one I described, definitely give Tripp a call!!! Thanks Again Tripp!! Look forward to talking with you again!! | ||
