Guys- I'm ordering the Madstad setup today for my initial ride to bring my uly home from Florida but I am really not a fan of the black aluminum flyscreen that comes with it and would like to paint it racing red (you know , the color thats faster than black) prior to installation. Thanks in advance to anyone who has it. (Message edited by widowmaker2011 on February 03, 2009) |

Their is no paint code for that, as its molded in plastic. There isn't a powder coated wheel either from the factory, so Buell dosen't offer a touch up paint kit. |

Well doesn't that make perfect common sense ! I have access to a dupont colormatch camera at work and can shoot the plastic and make the paint but the bike is 1400 miles away.. On to plan B. Thanks! |

I have a Nexa Zyna Tech mixing system. If i need a place to start I find a close match in the color chip books and fine tint to match by eye. IMHO color guns suck. Oh, yeah there is no actual paint code for the plastics. Also.....the orange bikes are faster! |
