Big Question, For those of us that are out of country and away from our Buell's can we mail into a Dealership for the Schwag? Otherwise those of us deployed or stationed outside of the U.S. miss out the cool Schwag. Thanks. Toby |

Gotcha covered Toby. I'll talk to Dave, maybe toss a care package out to Korea. Fond, hazy memories of Pusan in the early 80s. Z |

Toby, This dealership has a long history of supporting veterans. The owner back 20+ years ago started a Disabled American Vet run after holding a ride to raise money for the Denver Vietnam Vets Memorial. Being a disabled vet himself, he asked around and found the DAV the most philanthropic veteran centric organization that actually helped vets in need. We have been doing a DAV Vets Ride ever since. I have produced the last 8 years worth with our HOG chapter lending major manpower and support. Harley picked up the pace and in late 2007 created a $1-mln foundation for the DAV to create MSO fleet of trucks. Last year we had a Mobile Service Office truck here twice to help vets learn of, and file for their benefits. The national commander of the DAV rode here on his way to Milwaukee on his Ride Home atop his Harley's Heroes tribute bike. We also had a ride that went to the VA hospital in Denver and visited residents there. http://www.highcountrydavrun.org/ If you read his BLOG on 18Aug you will see we almost stuck him in a snow bank though. https://www.dav.org/HarleysHeroes/Blog.aspx ~jammer |
