gotta remove my shock for a rebuild at racetech. i am up for any advice for things to do or not to do to make it go smoothly. any info, hints, or advice is welcome |

I would be interested in your opinion of the rebuilt shock ,over the next year or so.Over here in UK it is generally thought that rebuilds on the showa shock are not cost effective,and that the shock starts to leak fairly soon after rebuild. I'm on my 2nd shock ,and when that fails I would like an alternative to the £ 400 + cost of an AST. Cheers Lee |

BTW. Just take the weight with a jack under the engine ,and take out the bolts. Lee |

I put a jackstand under each footpeg mount. |

I used Powerstands Power Jacks (plug for new sponsor) to put under my footpegs. If you are going to use them or similar things, you will need to support a non folding area. You could use the footpeg mount base as a jack point. |
