That's a bargain, I'll gladly pay &100.00 a year to NOT have a Harley. Nothing against you who do own Harley's of course. |

my title said "Buel". Same here in NC. If it's like our DMV, they use 4 letter abbreviations. Like others have said, check your vin #. |

In NC my '95 S2 is a Buel RS1200. They won't change even when I showed them a copy of the original MN title with it listed as an S2. They told me I was incorrect. Period, end of conversation, Next please. So what's a '95 RS1200 worth? |

When I bought my Blast it was titled as a Make: Harley Davidson Model: Buell doesn't matter to me.. State Farm insisted that it was a dirt bike too, so my insurance was pretty damn cheap. |

Went by the dealer (Liberty) last night and had the pleasure of meeting Ms Chellem. She took all my paperwork and said she will take care of it. So now I have traded in a Harley for a Buell and it feels wonderfull. For the record it was the dimwits at MV that fumbled the ball NOT LIBERTY. |

Mine is listed as HD also. Played hell going through a check point and the officer wanted to know where the Harley was at. THEN he decided to check the VIN and realized I was right all along. |

Same for me as forbes, my inspection reciept says my bike is a Harley Davidson Buell. Weird, but it was a Jap bike dealer so I don't blame them. |

Aww, it's not so bad really. Mine says HARL on it. But the bike says Buell. Which really really confuses all the "Real Bikers" because I'm not wearing the official-club-pirate-gear when I roll up on my XB9 Hawg. I park it right between the big bagger and the stretched out chopper, pull off my full face helmet just in time to hear some guy in chaps and a do-rag covered with skulls tell me that I can park that "rice-burning piece of crap" over there with the rest of the "crotch-rockets". The UJM crowd kinda gets a kick out of it when I tell Mr. Hardcore that it really IS a Harley. THEY know what it is and what it isn't. I kinda like having a foot in both worlds. Means there's more people out there for me to mess with.

Mine in MO says BUEL (four letter max). For those of you showing H-D language on your Title / Registration, I'd have to wonder if your dealer put that on the application paperwork. Most DMV's just use whatever is listed in the blocks, even if it's wrong. Mike |
