Actually, the Ins bill went down when I added the XR - makes sense when you think about it - the more bikes you own, the less seat time each is gonna get - "Honey, you know, if I by this new bike, we're gonna save money on our insurance bill" Yes, that is a ventura rack on the wife's CityX - that thing is great, very versatile with a subtle, smart looking rack system - I'm hoping they come out with a version for the XR (Message edited by rhinowerx on January 13, 2009) |

While everyone else is busy slapping you on the back, I just want to go on record as "I hate you!" OK not really and I'm sure I'd like you even more if I were your next door neighbor and you needed help keeping those bikes in running order. |

He got one, it is called the XR1200 now. Ummmmmm....no. That Xr1200 is a fine looking motorcycle, if it weren't for Buells I'd probably be all over it. BUT, it ain't no S1. (Message edited by badlionsfan on January 13, 2009) |

The XR1200 is what would happen if the tubers were still around, and Erik got sued and couldn't use the underslung muffler anymore. |

The short version: this is my second XR - the first one I ordered, once it arrived at the dealership, was deemed the 'hot new must have bike' which warranted (in their opinion) a $1600 mark-up. I promptly canceled my order, received a full refund and placed a second order with another dealer whose business practice better matched my expectations. $12023.11 OTD - Great service. Great experience. Great price (especially for SoCal). (Message edited by rhinowerx on January 14, 2009) |

My dealer here in SE Wis "rough" quoted me 11.5, so that is a good price for Cali. |

Hey Keith, That's good to know - not a whole lot of stuff out for this bike yet. I was thinking, for the right side of the bike, the pipes would make for pretty good sliders Do you have them with the spool? Should work with my pitbull Cheers, -Jack |
