Adam, I recently wondered about this same thing. The '98 S1W exhaust has a 2-1/2" outlet vs. the standard S1 2" outlet, so a '96-98 S1 muffler won't fit. The '99-02 M2, S3, and X1 bikes have 2-1/2" exhaust outlets, but have different exhausts. Are the outlets in the same locations on the newer bikes so that the later mufflers will fit the '98 S1W properly? |

Affirmative. Hendy, What are you looking for from the exhaust/slip-on? |

ya the slip on muffler or a race can and i can make a 90 bend for it but if i can get a full system for not some crazy price then that would be fine also |

I have a used Buell race header and a new Buell race muffler. The header has no dents but it does have a very small pin hole in the weld where the collector and pipes join. I was going to get it fixed but have sold all my bikes and its just been sitting in the garage for some time now. The matching muffler is new as stated. Fits 96-98 tube frame bikes. The muffler has the clamp with it. $450 plus shipping. |
